The numbers
What the weather here is
Mont Pelée at 1,397 m destroyed Saint-Pierre in 1902 and still shapes the island's climate: the northern third is rainforest under 5,000 mm a year, while the southern beaches run half that and have a real dry season, the carême, from February to April.
Where the official forecast is
This site is not a warning service. The official forecast and every watch and warning for Martinique comes from Météo-France Martinique. During a tropical cyclone the advisory that everything else follows is the National Hurricane Center's.
What is on this page is the raw observation — the METAR itself, from the aerodrome named above it — with nothing added and nothing forecast.
