The numbers
What the weather here is
The Cordillera Central splits the island so completely that El Yunque on the windward northeast takes 4,000 mm a year while the Guánica dry forest on the southwest coast takes 750 mm — both under the same flag, 90 km apart. Maria's 2017 rainfall maximum of around 1,000 mm in 48 hours came off that terrain. NOAA forecasts Puerto Rico, so Forecast Eagle's model pages cover it too.
Where the official forecast is
This site is not a warning service. The official forecast and every watch and warning for Puerto Rico comes from NWS San Juan. During a tropical cyclone the advisory that everything else follows is the National Hurricane Center's.
What is on this page is the raw observation — the METAR itself, from the aerodrome named above it — with nothing added and nothing forecast.
