What the weather here is
The northern 60 per cent of an island shared with the Netherlands, and the same weather as the southern 40: dry, trade-swept and hurricane-exposed. Irma's 2017 landfall here was near the strongest recorded in the Atlantic, and rebuilding standards on both sides of the border were rewritten because of it.
