What the weather here is
Grenada spent 49 years without a hurricane and then took Ivan directly in 2004, which damaged 90 per cent of the housing stock and ended the assumption that 12°N was far enough south. The mountainous interior is wet enough for nutmeg and cocoa; the Grenadines to the north are dry, low and coral.
Where the official forecast is
This site is not a warning service. The official forecast and every watch and warning for Grenada comes from Caribbean Meteorological Organization. During a tropical cyclone the advisory that everything else follows is the National Hurricane Center's.
What is on this page is the raw observation — the METAR itself, from the aerodrome named above it — with nothing added and nothing forecast.
