What the weather here is
La Soufrière dominates the north of Saint Vincent and erupted explosively in 2021, which put an ash plume into the trade-wind flow and dusted Barbados 160 km downwind — a reminder that the prevailing easterly is a transport mechanism as well as a rain source. The Grenadines strung south of it are low, dry and coral.
Where the official forecast is
This site is not a warning service. The official forecast and every watch and warning for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines comes from SVG Meteorological Services. During a tropical cyclone the advisory that everything else follows is the National Hurricane Center's.
What is on this page is the raw observation — the METAR itself, from the aerodrome named above it — with nothing added and nothing forecast.
